The story of 3C3W and 3C0W 2025 DX-pedition is published. It explains why 3C0W did not appear on the bands this year.
They are leaving for home today (September 12) evening.
Sorry to all for the given hopes for 3C0W. The details of the trip will follow later.
They have returned back to Malabo, with some "adventures". So no 3C0W this time. May be next year.
Now they are planning return home.
In another phone call Yuris updates that they have not yet managed to get the local permit to operate in Annobon (3C0W). They will keep trying to obtain it until Friday, September 12. If not successful, they will fly back to Malabo and continue to operate from there (3C3W).
Yuris in short phone call to his wife has told that they have reached Annobon, but they have no internet there, despite earlier mentioned purchase of local SIM card. Unfortunately no further information is available yet when they might hit the airwaves as 3C0W. However re-reading notes and story of Yuris earlier DX-pedition there - 3C0L in 2017, specifically October 11 to 13, 2017 - might give some hints of potential reasons of the delays with getting on the air.
The plan still stands - Saturday, 7:00 AM local time need to be in the airport for the flight to Annobon (3C0W).

They are in hotel in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, close to the ocean and operating as 3C3W. They installed vertical for 3 bands, and EFHW antenna. However there is not enough space for low band antenna anywhere nearby.
Turns out there are irregular flights to Annobon (3C0W), not only ferry service, as initial information suggested. So the plan is to operate as 3C3W until Friday, and then to fly to Annobon on Saturday, September 6th. Fingers crossed the flight will not get cancelled.
Yuris/YL2GM and Eugene/EA5EL are on their way to Malabo in Equatorial Guinea with 150 kg of luggage.
Yuris/YL2GM and Eugene/EA5EL will operate from Equatorial Guinea (3C3W) and Annobon (3C0W) in September 2025.
The plan is to be on the air for 2 weeks from Annobon (3C0W), dates are depending on the ferry schedule. And while waiting for the ferry to 3C0W they will operate as 3C3W.
