Bands

All HF bands from 160m to 10m band.

Frequencies will depend on local QRM, other DX-pedition activity (e.g.,3Y0J) or local noise.

Split operation will always be used.

7P8WW will listen CW up 1 and more (160 down 2 for JA 1810-1820), SSB - up 5 and more.

Please listen and follow the operator instructions on the air. Also obey operator's instructions regarding areas of the world being called and do not call if you are from other part of the world.

FT8 - Fox/Hound (F/H) mode will be used when outside normal FT8 frequencies.
Please learn how to use it.

The main F/H principles for Hound (you):

• transmit only when you can decode 7P8WW
• transmit only during odd time periods (seconds 15/45)
• initially call with audio frequency above 1000 Hz and with your GRID (eg, 7P8WW I0XYZ JN11)
• frequencies below 1000 Hz are only for transmitting your replies (up to 3 times) with signal report AFTER you receive report from DX (eg, 7P8WW I0XYZ R-11)
• if you see RR73 from 7P8WW - you are in the log and you can stop your transmission. No need to transmit RR73 or 73 message
